Help us support the next generation of international students in London
For many students, moving into International Students House is their first time living and studying away from home. Home may be many thousands of miles away, living life in a different language, and a different culture.
Our founder, Mary Trevelyan, knew this. She wanted to create a welcoming place where the brightest international minds of tomorrow would be supported to realise their academic potential and personal growth. She wanted to create a home from home. Somewhere where young minds would be nurtured.
Time spent at International Students House is special. With your help, we can continue to support the most creative and innovative minds of the next generation, giving them a place to live, learn and connect in London.
If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to GIFT AID your donation. This means that we get an additional 25% of your donation to support international students at no extra cost to you.
Building a legacy
2025 marks 60 years since Mary Trevelyan first opened the doors of International Students House at Great Portland Street, the charity’s first home for international students to experience the very best of London’s diverse culture and people.
Her vision has ignited us to think about the next 60 years and we have exciting plans!
• We are building a brand-new state-of-the-art home.
• We are increasing the bursary support for disadvantaged students.
• We are growing the welfare and wellbeing support programme.
• We are increasing the Hardship Fund for our residents.
Our global community of alumni, partners and friends are at the heart of supporting the next generation of international students in London. And YOU can be part of our future!
Donate now to be part of the next 60 years of International Students House.
